Sacred Rim: This is a popular day hike accessed from the Elkhart Park Trailhead. It's a moderately challenging 3.5-mile round-trip hike with great views of the Bridger-Teton Mountains and Fremont Lake.
Here are some other popular trails in the Pinedale area:
Green River Lakes: This is an easy and popular day hike featuring spectacular views of the Green River Lakes and the iconic Squaretop Mountain. The trail is a 7.7-mile loop and is dog-friendly.
Photographer's Point: Also starting from the Elkhart Park Trailhead, this 9.4-mile round-trip hike leads to a breathtaking overlook with panoramic views of the Continental Divide.
Big Sandy Lake: Located in the southern Wind River Range, the hike to Big Sandy Lake is a 5.4-mile round trip and is considered a moderate hike. It's a popular starting point for longer backpacking trips into the area.
